Not chasing the internet

It seems like the last month has flown by, and, as we have had very little Internet available, no blog updates. The trips have been following a similar pattern now that we are delivering reels, with a run down to Texas or Oklahoma, then a return trip back to Canada.

On a few of these trips we were once again running with Michael McGarry, and we also had a run back with Ian Cooper, a fellow Brit. A couple of our resets were spent at Micks new place out in the sticks (without Internet) to keep him company until his wife and children arrived on March 20th to start their new lives in Canada.

Here's a tip for other drivers out there... if you lose the safety clip off your fire extinguisher, replace it, otherwise it will go off in your truck and fill the place with fine white powder!

We've been running hard the last few months since we arrived and have had little time to take pictures due to the need to go non stop during daylight hours, but now that the days are longer we can pull up and do a bit of shooting, although if we do many more 750 mile days it won't be happening too often.

We usually see lots of dust when we go down to the Texas oilfields, but this last trip was a real eye opener, with beautiful green fields, trees and swathes of colourful wildflowers.
