We took a stroll to the shopping mall today with Wolf, who is leaving first thing Monday morning for Mexico, and it's probably just about time for him after having to hang around with the old farts (Mick) for a week lol.Good luck with the mentor trip Wolf.
This was taken in downtown Lethbridge whilst we were out shopping.Mick is smiling here but he was in tears later when he found an audio cable for $4.99 and he had already bought one for $16 ha ha.

It's Andy (aka EnglishTrucker from BTA) here. This is the first time I have posted a comment on your blog.
It seems you are certainly having a good time out in Canada. The weather looks absolutely freezing out there. You are certainly brave going out just before Christmas!! Amanda and I are hoping to be out on a recce trip early next year. If you have been following BTA you will have read I lost my job as the company went bust. It has put a spanner in the works big time, but adapt and overcome we shall. When we do, I will let you know and maybe we could meet up?. Anyway good luck Mick with the training and mentor trip. I knew about your job loss mate, but I'm sure you'll find something, although I know it's tough over there just now.
That was one of the reasons for us doing this ...the worry about redundancy for us both.
Yes, it is cold, and I am just about to go off training at about -25 without the wind chill, so it should be interesting doing a pre-trip outside the truck today, NOT.

Yes we are having a good time,but we know this is no holiday and we are here to work.
Mick is finding it stressful because although he is willing to learn, it is still hard teaching old dogs new tricks.
The weather is very cold, cannot stay out for long in it.
